About AccidentLawyerReview

AccidentLawyerReview is an independent editorial publication that researches personal injury lawyers in the United States. We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We are journalism reviewing legal services — think ConsumerReports for accident lawyers.

Our mission

To help people who've been in a serious accident find a trustworthy lawyer and understand their rights — without drowning in legal jargon or marketing noise.

The personal injury legal market in the US is worth roughly $40 billion a year. Lawyers spend over $750 million annually on Google Ads trying to reach victims. There's an enormous amount of marketing noise — but very little independent research helping people choose between firms.

We exist to fill that gap. We do the research, publish the methodology, and let readers make informed decisions.

What we do

What we are not

Editorial principles

  1. Honesty over commission. We never recommend a lawyer we don't believe in, even if they pay more. Trust is the entire business.
  2. Sources over speculation. Every factual claim traces to a public source. When we don't know, we say "data unavailable" — we don't make things up.
  3. User journey first. Every page must answer a real question a real victim has at a specific point in their journey — not just chase keywords.

The team

AccidentLawyerReview is led by Mark Sullivan, Editor. We work with US-licensed personal injury attorneys as Editorial Advisors — they review our content for accuracy and provide expert quotes. Every attorney reviewer is named, with verifiable State Bar credentials.

How we make money

We may receive a referral fee when readers contact attorneys through links on our site. We may host clearly-labeled Sponsored placements. These relationships are fully disclosed on every page where they apply.

Compensation never influences our editorial rankings. Our Top-5 lists are based on the methodology we publish, not on who pays us. Read our full advertising disclosure.
